What is EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE (EI)?
In practice it relates to our capacity to perceive, express, understand and manage our own emotions and the emotions of others in an effective way, both in the workplace and in our personal lives.
Why is it important?
While emotional intelligence isn’t the sole predictor of human performance and development potential, it is proven to lead to a substantial improvement in individuals’ business performance and leadership capabilities. Everyone has the potential to grow their emotional talent.
It is a skill and skills can be learnt.
Unleash Your Talent Within
As part of our signature programme Unleash Your Talent Within, several highly interactive one-day workshops have been designed for Leaders, Managers or Entrepreneurs.
Based on our unique TALENT (Think-Ask-Listen-Energise-Nurture-Thrive) model the aim of the workshops is to help participants understand the benefits of being ‘emotionally intelligent’ and practice some associated skills.
Attendees leave with tools that they can put to immediate use to grow their emotional intelligence talents. They also get a practical workbook full of information and exercises to complete, both in the workshop and at home.

One–to-one EI coaching
One–to-one EI coaching is ideal to help individuals discover, grow and nurture their EI skills aligned with their aspirations and organisational needs. It consists of a free one-hour ‘chemistry’ session followed by 5 to 7 two-hour (face-to-face or Skype) sessions within 6 to 9 months.
